General English with Exam Preparation IELTS-25 Weeks Course and 2 months Holidays(For Russia, China and Venezuela citizens only)

DCE English Language School offers a variety of courses for adults. Our wide range of General English courses caters for English Language students of all levels. Quality English Language teaching, combined with small classes, guarantees results.

Students can enrol on long-term or short-term courses in General English at DCE English Language School, studying 15 hours per week, with an option to increase the hours for short-term intensive courses. Students can begin their course on any Monday of their choice. Course duration is between 1 week and 3 months for short-term, and between 25 to 52 weeks for long-term (non-visa-requiring students only - students who require a visa to study must take a 25-week course).

IELTS Exam Preparation:

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam, devised by the British Council and University of Cambridge, is a key exam for entry to degree courses in universities where the language of study will be English. The accepted band score for entrance to most universities is 6 and above. Our preparation course will enable students who have a minimum English language level of intermediate to achieve a firm grasp of the techniques required for the IELTS exam.
The English programme in preparation for the IELTS Examination is based on 25 weeks with five 3-hour lessons per week, from Monday to Friday, with a choice of morning or afternoon classes. This course will suit students of intermediate level and above who intend to sit the IELTS examination.
The IELTS examination tests students’ ability to communicate and function in an academic environment with listening, reading, writing and speaking sections.

The school's excellent location and its wide variety of courses make it an ideal location to study English: students can choose from General English courses, examination preparation courses, or executive courses. Dublin Centre of Education has excellent facilities, including a computer room with free internet access and self-study materials, a library, and a student lounge. The school offers a monthly social and leisure calendar to invite students to practice their English skills while visiting popular points of interest in and around the city. Students of any age over 18 are welcome to attend, and classes are held on weekdays for 3 hours a day. Whether you would like to attend a full-time course and live in Ireland, or simply learn English while enjoying a leisure trip, DCE has a course to suit you.

The standard General English course covers all aspects of the language: grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Great importance is placed on oral communication, and materials are both relevant and stimulating. Students are tested regularly to ensure they are in the
correct class for their level.
Our examination preparation courses are focused on developing the necessary skills to pass end-of-course external examinations. This involves improving the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as working on vocabulary development and grammatical accuracy.
We offer preparation in Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE and IELTS, and TIE.

My review of Dublin Centre of Education is very good. The team were always available if you need something. The teachers were very good.
I recommend that you choose this school if you need to study English whether zero up to intermediate level.

My English was very poor when I first started at Dublin Centre of Education. The teachers were friendly and fun and the school fee is relatively cheap. They also offered free coffee, tea, WiFi and study materials. They were really nice and fun to be with. Thank you very much Dublin Centre of Education.
