Our summer academic programs offer university students the perfect opportunity to take short-term, credit-bearing courses in one of Spain’s most beautiful cities. This is an intensive and rewarding study abroad experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in Sevillan culture while taking a course for credit at the Spanish Institute for Global Education in Seville.

You can choose the number of weeks you want for your program. This program is offered at different levels of Spanish.

5 weeks Spanish Language Course and Contemporary Spanish Culture and Society Course

Credits: 14 ECTS credits (7 US credits).
Included in the 105-hour program:
90-hour Spanish Language and Contemporary Spanish Culture and Society class.
15-hour Instructional excursions, cultural activities, and visits throughout Seville and Andalusia.

4 weeks Spanish Language Course and Contemporary Spanish Culture and Society Course

Credits: 12 ECTS credits (6 US credits).
Included in the 90-hour program:
75-hour Spanish Language and Contemporary Spanish Culture and Society class.
15-hour Instructional excursions, cultural activities, and visits throughout Seville and Andalusia.

3 weeks Spanish Language Course and Contemporary Spanish Culture and Society Course

Credits: 6 ECTS credits (3 US credits).
